We have stayed here for 4 years in a row. We show up and now they inform us they have change all their policies and our cabin is not ready, no one to help us. Very disappointed. Guess I'll be looking for a new place next year
Great weekend fishing tournaments
Feels like family. I have been coming here for over 20 years. Fishing is fantastic. Resort is beautiful, and the owners are lovely people. 3rd generation of family running it.
The rules did change but it was for a good reason, disrespectful renters are not welcome. Don't tear up the cabins.
I've been staying here since 1985, Ron, Karen and her children are more like family, always helpful. If Karen doesn't have any space, then we don't go to the lake - Lamplighter is it for us, comfortable, quiet, good fishing good relaxing.
Great place to getaway at the lake and very reasonable rates. The cabins are kind of dated but very clean and well kept. No online booking and they only take cash or check. Owners are great, Ron and Karen will help in any way possible. No towels so bring your own. Quiet place on the water with an area for the kids to play. Great feshing off the fish dock or in the fish house. They have two boat docks one that is a boat/swim dock and they have a swim platform 60 feet off the swim dock.
